Pennsylvania refunds $176.48 million of series 2003 and 2004 G.O. notes

Minneapolis, Oct. 20 - The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania said it has refunded and will redeem $176.48 million of series 2003 and 2004 general obligation bonds beginning Jan. 1, 2013, according to a pricing sheet. The bonds will be redeemed at par plus interest and redemption premium, of any.

The first series of 2003 bonds is a total of $68,875,000 due 2022 and 2023 and will be redeemed on Jan. 1, 2013.

The second series of 2003 bonds is a total of $55,875,000 due 2016 to 2021 and will be redeemed on July 1, 2013.

The first series of 2004 bonds is $5 million due 2021 and will be redeemed on Feb. 1, 2014.

The second series of 2004 bonds is a total of $46,730,000 due 2017 to 2019 and will be redeemed on June 1, 2014.
