University of Virginia to defease $82.22 million series 2003B notes

Minneapolis, Oct. 19 - The Rector and Visitors of the University of Virginia gave notice that it will defease $92.215 million of its series 2003B bonds on June 1, 2013, according to a notice from the university.

The bonds are due 2012 to 2033 and all carry a coupon of 5%, according to the notice. They will be redeemed at par on June 1, 2013 unless they redeem earlier.

The Bank of New York Mellon will be the escrow agent.
