Hamilton County, Ohio, to refund and redeem series 1998A, 2000B bonds

Madison, Wis., Oct. 19 - Hamilton County, Ohio, said it will refund and redeem the remaining outstanding principal amount of its series 1998A Hamilton County Football Project bonds due Dec. 1, 2027 and a portion of its outstanding subordinate series 2000B sales tax refunding and improvement bonds due on Dec. 1 in the years 2012 through 2032.

The issuer said that it will not redeem the capital appreciation bonds due Dec. 1 in the years 2020 through 2028 that are part of the 2000B bonds. The 2000B bonds that are due Dec. 1, 2011 are also not part of the refunding.

The original principal amount of the 1998A bonds is $71.61 million. The original principal amount of the 2000B bonds is $349,922,512.

The refunded 1998A bonds will be redeemed on Nov. 14, and the refunded 2000B bonds will be redeemed on Dec. 1.
