Missouri authority submits bids of 1.75% for $156.6 million of bonds

Knoxville, Tenn., Oct. 18 - The Health and Educational Facilities Authority of the State of Missouri said it intends to submit bids of 1.75% for its series 2006A, series 2006B, series 2005A and series 2005B refunding revenue bonds, which were issued for St. Anthony's Medical Center.

The affected bonds include the following:

• $35 million of series 2006A notes;

• $35 million of series 2006B notes;

• $43.3 million of 2005A notes; and

• $43.3 million of 2005B notes.

The authority is based in Chesterfield, Mo. It provides access to the capital markets in an effort to lower the cost of health and educational services in Missouri by providing high quality, readily available, low-cost financing alternatives for Missouri non-profit health and educational institutions.
