Metropolitan Transportation calls $446.38 million of tax fund bonds

Knoxville, Tenn., Oct. 17 - The Metropolitan Transportation Authority announced it has called all $446.38 million of series 2001A dedicated tax fund bonds for redemption on Nov. 15.

The affected bonds include the following:

• $9.2 million of 5.25% notes due Nov. 15, 2012;

• $4.17 million of 4% notes due Nov. 15, 2012;

• $11.62 million of 5.25% notes due Nov. 15, 2013;

• $2.4 million of 4.125% notes due Nov. 15, 2013;

• $12.92 million of 5.25% notes due Nov. 15, 2014;

• $1.81 million of 4.25% notes due Nov. 15, 2014;

• $14.38 million of 5.25% notes due Nov. 15, 2015;

• $1.1 million of 4.4% notes due Nov. 15, 2015;

• $14.5 million of 5.25% notes due Nov. 15, 2016;

• $1.78 million of 4.5% notes due Nov. 15, 2016;

• $15.82 million of 5.25% notes due Nov. 15, 2017;

• $1.3 million of 4.6% notes due Nov. 15, 2017;

• $16.92 million of 5.25% notes due Nov. 15, 2018;

• $1.09 million of 4.63% notes due Nov. 15, 2018;

• $18.35 million of 5.25% notes due Nov. 15, 2019;

• $600,000 of 4.75% notes due Nov. 15, 2019;

• $19.35 million of 5% notes due Nov. 15, 2020;

• $590,000 of 4.9% notes due Nov. 15, 2020;

• $18.36 million of 5% notes due Nov. 15, 2021;

• $2.58 million of 4.9% notes due Nov. 15, 2021;

• $21.98 million of 5.25% notes due Nov. 15, 2022;

• $23.13 million of 5.25% notes due Nov. 15, 2023;

• $43.71 million of 5% notes due Nov. 15, 2025; and

• $188.79 million of 5% notes due Nov. 15, 2031.

The Bank of New York Mellon (800 254-2826) is the trustee.
