EarthLink calls 3.25% convertibles due 2026, offers conversion

By Toni Weeks

San Diego, Oct. 14 - EarthLink, Inc. has issued a call to fully redeem its 3.25% convertible senior notes due 2026 on Nov. 15, according to a news release.

Noteholders may instead opt to surrender their notes for conversion from Oct. 14 to, and including, Nov. 15.

The company said that due to the call for redemption, an adjustment to the conversion rate for the notes is required. The adjustment is in connection with the $0.05 dividend EarthLink paid on Sept. 20. The adjusted conversion price will be effective Oct. 14.

Wells Fargo Bank, NA is the conversion agent.

The Atlanta-based company provides internet access and communications services.
