Greater Orlando Aviation, Fla., defeases 2002 airport facilities bonds

Madison, Wis., Oct. 13 - Greater Orlando Aviation Authority gave notice that it defeased its series 2002A (non-AMT) and 2002B (AMT) airport facilities revenue bonds.

The defeased bonds will be redeemed on Oct. 1, 2012 at par plus accrued interest to the redemption date, according to a company filing.

The following 2002A bonds were defeased:

• $1.26 million of 4.25% bonds due Oct. 1, 2013;

• $1.315 million of 4.375% bonds due Oct. 1, 2014;

• $1.37 million of 4.5% bonds due Oct. 1, 2015;

• $1.435 million of 4.625% bonds due Oct. 1, 2016;

• $1.5 million of 4.75% bonds due Oct. 1, 2017;

• $1.07 million of 4.75% bonds due Oct. 1, 2018;

• $500,000 of 4.8% bonds due Oct. 1, 2018;

• $1.145 million of 4.75% bonds due Oct. 1, 2019;

• $500,000 of 4.9% bonds due Oct. 1, 2019;

• $345,000 of 5% bonds due Oct. 1, 2020;

• $1.38 million of 5.25% bonds due Oct. 1, 2020;

• $1.815 million of 5% bonds due Oct. 1, 2021;

• $1.85 million of 5% bonds due Oct. 1, 2021;

• $1.905 million of 5.1% bonds due Oct. 1, 2022;

• $11.085 million of 5.125% bonds due Oct. 1, 2027; and

• $14.235 million of 5.125% bonds due Oct. 1, 2032.

The following 2002B bonds were defeased:

• $3.045 million of 5.5% bonds due Oct. 1, 2017;

• $27.95 million of 5.25% bonds due Oct. 1, 2019;

• $29.42 million of 5.125% bonds due Oct. 1, 2021;

• $3.085 million of 5.125% bonds due Oct. 1, 2021; and

• $2.76 million of 5.25% bonds due Oct. 1, 2032.

The authority manages the Orlando International Airport and the Orlando Executive Airport.
