CIBC to redeem C$1.08 billion 4.55% notes due 2016 on March 28

Cleveland, Jan. 31 - CIBC announced it will redeem its C$1.08 billion of 4.55% medium-term notes due March 28, 2016.

The notes will be redeemed on March 28 at par plus accrued interest to the redemption date.

BNY Trust Co. of Canada is the redemption agent.

The redemption will be financed by general corporate funds.

The financial services company is based in Toronto.
