By Marisa Wong

Madison, Wis., Jan. 21 - Firelands Regional Medical Center said it may purchase its hospital facilities revenue bonds, series 2002 and 2006, issued by the County of Erie, Ohio.

Firelands said that its debt may be trading at substantially reduced prices. As a result, it may purchase the bonds from time to time through open market purchases or private transactions.

Affected are $80 million of series 2002 bonds and $80 million of series 2006 bonds.

The health system is based in Sandusky, Ohio.
