Fannie Mae plans to redeem $3.19 billion medium-term notes at par

San Diego, Jan. 14 - Fannie Mae said that it will redeem $3.185 billion of its medium-term notes, according to a press release.

The redemption price will be the principal amount plus accrued interest up to the redemption date. The redemptions will occur over four days.

The following securities will be redeemed Jan. 24:

• $10 million of 4.5% notes due Jan. 24, 2018;

• $10 million of 4.875% notes due Jan. 24, 2023; and

• $50 million of 2.07% notes due Jan. 24, 2013.

The following securities will be redeemed Jan. 25:

• $50 million of 1.375% notes due Jan. 25, 2013;

• $75 million of 1.25% notes due Jan. 25, 2013; and

• $1.025 billion of 2.125% notes due Jan. 25, 2013.

The following securities will be redeemed Jan. 26:

• $25 million of 2% notes due Jan. 26, 2016;

• $75 million of 1.75% notes due Jan. 26, 2015;

• $50 million of 2.25% notes due Dec. 26, 2013;

• $360 million of 1.4% notes due July 26, 2013;

• $75 million of 0.5% notes due July 26, 2012;

• $75 million of 1% notes due Oct. 26, 2012;

• $105 million of 1.25% notes due April 26, 2013; and

• $250 million of 1.45% notes due July 26, 2013.

The following securities will be redeemed Jan. 27:

• $50 million of 4.125% notes due Jan. 27, 2025;

• $75 million of 4% notes due Jan. 27, 2020;

• $50 million of 1.25% notes due Jan. 27, 2015;

• $75 million of 1.625% notes due Jan. 27, 2014;

• $100 million of 1.55% notes due July 27, 2012; and

• $600 million of 1.71% notes due Jan. 27, 2014.
