Tenneco to redeem all $20.03 million 8 5/8% notes due 2014 at 102.875

Madison, Wis., Dec. 29 - Tenneco Automotive Inc. said that it will redeem its $20,029,000 of outstanding 8 5/8% senior subordinated notes due 2014 in full on Jan. 7.

The notes will be redeemed at 102.875 plus accrued interest to the redemption date.

The company began a tender offer and consent solicitation for its $500 million 8 5/8% notes on Dec. 9. As of Dec. 22, the issuer received tenders and consents for about $480 million of the notes.

Tenneco is a Lake Forest, Ill.-based designer, manufacturer and marketer of emission control and ride control products and systems for the automotive original equipment market and the aftermarket.
