Puerto Rico Infrastructure to redeem $996.33 million 2000A, B bonds

Madison, Wis., Sept. 1 - The Puerto Rico Infrastructure Financing Authority said it will redeem its 2000 series A and B special obligation bonds, totaling $996.33 million, in full on Oct. 1.

The bonds will be redeemed at the redemption price plus accrued interest up to the redemption date. The redemption price is 101 for the 2000A bonds and par for the 2000B bonds.

Affected are $946.27 million of 2000A bonds due Oct. 1 in the years 2011 through 2020, 2024, 2032, 2034 and 2040 and $50.06 million of 2000B variable-rate bonds due Oct. 1, 2040.
