California Infrastructure to redeem $55.6 million series 2001 bonds

Knoxville, Tenn., Aug. 26 - California Infrastructure & Economic Development Bank said it will redeem all $55.6 million of its series 2001 variable-rate demand revenue bonds due Nov. 13, 2037, which were issued for Buck Institute for Age Research, at par plus interest to Sept. 9, the redemption date.

The Bank of New York Mellon (800 254-2826) is the trustee.

California's general purpose financing authority is based in Sacramento.
