Nashville Airport Authority aims to redeem $219.1 million of bonds

Knoxville, Tenn., Aug. 19 - The Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority said it will redeem some of the $74.81 million original amount of its series 1995 adjustable rate refunding airport improvement revenue bonds, $19.7 million of series 1998A airport improvement revenue bonds, $32.66 million of series 1998C airport improvement revenue bonds and $91.93 million of series 2001A refunding airport improvement revenue bonds.

All bonds will be redeemed at par plus interest to Sept. 20, the redemption date.

The 1995 bonds consist of $5.46 million of 4.95% bonds due July 1, 2011; $6 million of 5% bonds due July 1, 2012; $6.6 million of 5% bonds due July 1, 2013; $7.26 million of 5% bonds due July 1, 2014; and $7.99 million of 5% bonds due July 1, 2015.

The 1998A bonds consist of $1.12 million of 5% bonds due July 1, 2011; $900,000 of 5.05% bonds due July 1, 2012; $645,000 of 5.1% bonds due July 1, 2013; and $350,000 of 5.15% bonds due July 1, 2014.

The 1998C bonds consist of $2.19 million of 5% bonds due July 1, 2011; $4.74 million of 5.375% bonds due July 1, 2013; $2.57 million of 5.375% bonds due July 1, 2014; $2.72 million of 5.375% bonds due July 1, 2015; and $1.9 million of 5.375% bonds due July 1, 2016.

The 2001A bonds consist of $7.45 million of 6.6% bonds due July 1, 2011; $7.94 million of 6.6% bonds due July 1, 2012; $8.47 million of 6.6% bonds due July 1, 2013; $9.02 million of 6.6% bonds due July 1, 2014; and $9.62 million of 6.6% bonds due July 1, 2015.
