New Jersey to redeem $56.94 million series 2000A environmental bonds

Knoxville, Tenn., Aug. 3 - The New Jersey Environmental Infrastructure Trust announced it will redeem $56.94 million of its series 2000A environmental infrastructure bonds at 101 plus interest to Sept. 1, the redemption date.

Affected securities include the following:

• $60,000 in 5% bonds due Sept. 1, 2011;

• $4.46 million in 5% bonds due Sept. 1, 2011;

• $60,000 in 5% bonds due Sept. 1, 2012;

• $4.62 million in 5% bonds due Sept. 1, 2011;

• $55,000 in 5% bonds due Sept. 1, 2011;

• $55,000 in 5% bonds due Sept. 1, 2012;

• $5.12 million in 5% bonds due Sept. 1, 2013;

• $5.38 million in 5% bonds due Sept. 1, 2014;

• $5.64 million in 5.125% bonds due Sept. 1, 2015;

• $5.69 million in 5.125% bonds due Sept. 1, 2016;

• $5.98 million in 5.25% bonds due Sept. 1, 2017;

• $6.28 million in 5% bonds due Sept. 1, 2018;

• $6.6 million in 5.25% bonds due Sept. 1, 2019; and

• $6.96 million in 5.25% bonds due Sept. 1, 2020.

The Bank of New York Mellon (800 254-2826) is the trustee.

Based in Lawrenceville, N.J., the trust provides low-cost financing to local governments for the construction of ground and surface water protection projects.
