National Grid buys back £10.82 million of 5.25% instruments due 2011

Tacoma, Wash., June 30 - National Grid plc repurchased £10,816,000 of its £223,194,000 5.25% instruments due June 2011 for cancellation, according to a company news release.

Following the repurchase, the amount of securities outstanding is £212,378,000.

National Grid is a gas and electric utility based in London.
