Houston rescinds redemption of 2002C, 2002D-1 airport system bonds

Milwaukee, June 25 - The City of Houston gave notice that it has rescinded the planned redemption of its airport system subordinate lien revenue bonds, series 2002C, 2002D-1.

Originally, the city planned to redeem $1.725 million of $96.65 million of outstanding 2002C bonds due 2020 and $1.775 million of $71.625 million of outstanding 2002D-1 bonds due 2020.

The bonds were to be redeemed on June 24 at par plus accrued interest up to the redemption date.
