Domtar begins tender offer for up to $350 million of three notes, $75 million of fourth series

Chicago, May 21 - Domtar Corp. said it began a cash tender offer for up to $350 million of three series of notes and up to $75 million of a fourth series of notes.

Covered by the tender offer are the following notes listed in order of acceptance priority:

• $310,431,000 of 5 3/8% notes due 2013;

• $399,723,000 of 7 1/8% notes due 2015;

• $134,752,000 of 7 7/8% notes due 2011; and

• $400 million 10¾% notes due 2017.

The company said it will pay $1,050 per 5 3/8% note, $1,070 per 7 1/8% note, $1,085 per 7 7/8% note and $1,210 per 10¾% note. The total payment includes a $50 premium per $1,000 principal amount for notes tendered by 5 p.m. ET on June 4, the early tender date.

The tender offer will end at midnight ET on June 18.
