Chicago Transit Authority defeases 2004, 2006 capital grant bonds

Milwaukee, May 19 - The Chicago Transit Authority gave notice that it has defeased its capital grant receipts revenue bonds (Federal Transit Administration Section 5307 Formula Funds), series 2004A, 2004B and 2006A.

Defeased are the following bonds:

• $12.785 million of 2004A bonds due 2010;

• $13.455 million of 2004A bonds due 2011;

• $8.51 million of 2004B bonds due 2010;

• $8.935 million of 2004B bonds due 2011;

• $8.8 million of 2006A bonds due 2010; and

• $9.155 million of 2006A bonds due 2011.

The Amalgamated Bank of Chicago is the trustee.
