Chesapeake Energy calls all $1.33 billion of 7½% notes, 6 7/8% notes

Tacoma, Wash., May 18 - Chesapeake Energy Corp. will redeem $1,334,260,000 of outstanding notes on June 21, according to a company news release.

To be redeemed are the company's $363,823,000 of 7½% senior notes due 2013, $300 million of 7½% senior notes due 2014 and $670,437,000 of 6 7/8% senior notes due 2016.

For each $1,000 principal amount, the redemption price is $1,025.00 for the 7½% notes and $1,022.92 for the 6 7/8% notes.

Holders will also receive accrued interest through the redemption date.

The trustee for the notes is Bank of New York Mellon Trust Co., NA (800 254-2826).

Chesapeake Energy is a natural gas producer based in Oklahoma City.
