San Antonio announces defeasance of $3.68 billion in bonds

Knoxville, Tenn., May 11 - The City of San Antonio said it defeased $3.68 billion of its revenue bonds.

Affected bonds are the following:

• $684.7 million in new series 1994-A Electric and Gas Systems revenue refunding bonds;

• $115.28 million in new series 2001 Electric and Gas Systems revenue refunding bonds;

• $576.71 million in new series 2002 Electric and Gas Systems Revenue and refunding bonds;

• $350.49 million in new series 2003 (forward delivery) Electric and Gas Systems revenue refunding bonds;

• $93.94 million in new series 2003A Electric and Gas Systems revenue refunding bonds;

• $160 million in series 2004 junior-lien revenue bonds;

• $240.68 million in new series 2005 Electric and Gas Systems revenue bonds;

• $197.34 million in new series 2005A Electric and Gas Systems revenue refunding bonds;

• $449.41 million in new series 2007 Electric and Gas Systems revenue and refunding bonds;

• $158.03 million in new series 2008A Electric and Gas Systems revenue refunding bonds;

• $442.01 million in new series 2009A Electric and Gas Systems revenue refunding bonds; and

• $207.94 million in new series 2009D Electric and Gas Systems revenue refunding bonds.
