Tallahassee, Fla., calls some 1998A, all 1998B energy system bonds

Milwaukee, April 26 - The City of Tallahassee, Fla., gave notice that it will redeem its energy system refunding revenue bonds, series 1998A in part and series 1998B in full, on May 25.

The bonds will be redeemed at par, plus accrued interest up to the redemption date.

To be redeemed are the following 1998A bonds:

• $5.51 million of 4.75% bonds due Oct. 1, 2016;

• $5.78 million of 4.75% bonds due Oct. 1, 2017;

• $6.045 million of 4.75% bonds due Oct. 1, 2018;

• $19.94 million of 4.75% bonds due Oct. 1, 2021; and

• $18.84 million of 5% bonds due Oct. 1, 2028.

The city will also redeem its $24.2 million of 5% 1998B bonds due Oct. 1, 2028.
