Whiting, Ind., rescinds redemption of BP Products environmental bonds

Milwaukee, March 31 - The City of Whiting, Ind., rescinded the planned full redemption of its BP Products North America Inc. Project environmental facilities revenue bonds, series 2005, due 2040.

Originally, all $60 million of outstanding bonds were to be redeemed on April 1 at par plus accrued interest up to the redemption date.

The Bank of New York Mellon Trust Co., NA was the trustee.
