Allegheny County, Pa., to redeem five University of Pittsburgh bonds

Knoxville, Tenn., March 23 - The Allegheny County Hospital Development Authority in Pennsylvania said it will redeem all of its series 2006A, series 2007A-2, series 2007B-1, series 2007C and series 2007D University of Pittsburgh Medical Center revenue bonds.

The following bonds will be redeemed:

• $79.9 million in variable-rate 2006A bonds due Jan. 15, 2036 at 100.25;

• $75 million in 5.2% 2007A-2 bonds due Feb. 1, 2037 at par;

• $100 million in 5.375% 2007B-1 bonds due April 15, 2039 at 100.25;

• $115.4 million in 5.625% 2007C bonds due Aug. 1, 2037 at 100.25; and

• $96.16 million in 5.625% 2007D bonds due Nov. 15, 2037 at par.

Interest will be paid up to March 24, the redemption date.

The Bank of New York Mellon (800 254-2826) is the trustee.
