Tennessee School authority calls $67.65 million higher education bonds

Milwaukee, March 19 - The Tennessee State School Bond Authority gave notice that it will redeem all $53,135,000 of its series 2000A, all $13,965,000 of its taxable series 2000B and a partial $545,000 of its taxable series 2007B higher educational facilities second program bonds on May 1.

The bonds will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest up to the redemption date.

Affected are the following 2000A bonds:

• $2.2 million of 5.125% bonds due May 1, 2011;

• $2.32 million of 5.125% bonds May 1, 2012;

• $2.44 million of 5.4% bonds May 1, 2013;

• $2.58 million of 5.25% bonds due May 1, 2014;

• $2.72 million of 5.25% bonds due May 1, 2015;

• $1,845,000 of 5.25% bonds due May 1, 2016;

• $1,945,000 of 5.25% bonds due May 1, 2017;

• $2.05 million of 5.45% bonds due May 1, 2018;

• $2.17 million of 5.4% bonds due May 1, 2019;

• $2.29 million of 5.5% bonds due May 1, 2020;

• $2.35 million of 5.5% bonds due May 1, 2021;

• $13.92 million of 5.5% bonds due May 1, 2026; and

• $14,305,000 of 5.625% bonds due May 1, 2030.

Of the 2000B bonds, the authority will redeem $6.25 million of 7.75% bonds due May 1, 2015 and $7,715,000 of 7.75% bonds due May 1, 2020.

The 2007B bonds to be redeemed are $545,000 of 5.243% bonds due May 1, 2017.
