California redeems $319.8 million of 2000 G.O. bonds at 101

Milwaukee, March 1 - The State of California gave notice that it redeemed $319.8 million of its 2000 G.O. bonds on March 1.

The bonds were redeemed at 101, plus accrued interest up to the redemption date.

Affected were the following bonds:

• $15.99 million of 5% bonds due March 1, 2011;

• $15.99 million of 5.125% bonds due March 1, 2012;

• $15.99 million of 5.25% bonds due March 1, 2013;

• $15.99 million of 5.375% bonds due March 1, 2014;

• $15.99 million of 5.5% bonds due March 1, 2015;

• $15.99 million of 5.5% bonds due March 1, 2016;

• $15.99 million of 5.5% bonds due March 1, 2017;

• $15.99 million of 5.5% bonds due March 1, 2018;

• $15.99 million of 5.75% bonds due March 1, 2019;

• $15.99 million of 5.75% bonds due March 1, 2020;

• $15.99 million of 5.75% bonds due March 1, 2021;

• $15.99 million of 5.75% bonds due March 1, 2022;

• $79.95 million of 5.75% bonds due March 1, 2027; and

• $47.97 million of 5.75% bonds due March 1, 2030.
