Miami Beach, Fla., defeases and calls a portion of stormwater bonds

Milwaukee, Feb. 24 - The City of Miami Beach, Fla., gave notice that it has defeased and will redeem a portion of its stormwater revenue bonds, series 2000, on Sept. 1, 2010.

The bonds will be redeemed at 101.

Affected are the following bonds:

• $1.245 million of 4.8% bonds due 2011;

• $1.305 million of 5.75% bonds due 2012;

• $1.38 million of 5.75% bonds due 2013;

• $1.46 million of 5.75% bonds due 2014;

• $1.545 million of 5.75% bonds due 2015;

• $1.63 million of 5.75% bonds due 2016;

• $1.725 million of 5.75% bonds due 2017; and

• $5.765 million of 5.25% bonds due 2020.
