Massachusetts Educational Financing calls part of 1998A, 1999A bonds

Milwaukee, Feb. 22 - The Massachusetts Educational Financing Authority gave notice that it will redeem a portion of its education loan revenue bonds, issue G series 1998A, and issue E series 1999A, on March 22.

The 1998A bonds will be redeemed at par, plus accrued interest up to the redemption date. The 1999A bonds will be redeemed at 101, plus accrued interest up to the redemption date.

Affected are the following issue G series 1998A bonds:

• $1.155 million of 4.9% bonds due Dec. 1, 2010;

• $1.23 million of 5% bonds due Dec. 1, 2011;

• $1.3 million of 5.05% bonds due Dec. 1, 2012;

• $1.4 million of 5.1% bonds due Dec. 1, 2013;

• $1.48 million of 5.125% bonds due Dec. 1, 2014; and

• $1.255 million of 5.15% bonds due Dec. 1, 2015.

Affected are the following issue E series 1999A bonds:

• $1.43 million of 4.65% bonds due July 1, 2010;

• $1.5 million of 4.75% bonds due July 1, 2011;

• $1.585 million of 4.8% bonds due July 1, 2012;

• $1.68 million of 4.9% bonds due July 1, 2013;

• $1.775 million of 4.95% bonds due July 1, 2014;

• $1.525 million of 5% bonds due July 1, 2015;

• $325,000 of 5.05% bonds due July 1, 2016; and

• $125,000 of 5.1% bonds due July 1, 2017.
