New York Fed offers to buy 22 agency series under purchase program

New York, Feb. 18 - The Federal Reserve Bank of New York is offering to buy debt from 22 series of agency-issued securities with maturities from March 13, 2014 through July 18, 2016, according to its web site.

The outright agency coupon purchase will be carried out on Feb. 19 with settlement on Feb. 22.

Fannie Mae notes

The offer includes the following notes issued by Fannie Mae:

• 2.75% notes due March 13, 2014;

• 4.125% notes due April 15, 2014;

• 2.5% notes due May 15, 2014;

• 3% notes due Sept. 16, 2014;

• 4.625% notes due Oct. 15, 2014;

• 2.625% notes due Nov. 20, 2014;

• 5% notes due April 15, 2015;

• 4.375% notes due Oct. 15, 2015;

• 5% notes due March 15, 2016; and

• 5.375% notes due July 15, 2016.

Freddie Mac notes

The Fed is also offering to purchase the following notes issued by Freddie Mac:

• 2.5% notes due April 23, 2014;

• 5% notes due July 15, 2014;

• 3% notes due July 28, 2014;

• 4.5% notes due Jan. 15, 2015;

• 2.875% notes due Feb. 9, 2015;

• 4.375% notes due July 17, 2015;

• 4.75% notes due Nov. 17, 2015;

• 4.75% notes due Jan. 19, 2016;

• 5.25% notes due April 18, 2016; and

• 5.5% notes due July 18, 2016.

FHLB notes

Finally, the offer to purchase also includes the 5.25% notes due June 18, 2014 and 5.5% notes due Aug. 13, 2014 issued by the Federal Home Loan Banks.
