California calls $319.8 million 2000 general obligation bonds at 101

Milwaukee, Feb. 5 - The State of California gave notice that it will redeem $319.8 million of its general obligation bonds issued in 2000 on March 1.

The bonds will be redeemed at 101, plus accrued interest up to the redemption date.

Affected are the following bonds:

• $15.99 million of 5% bonds due 2011;

• $15.99 million of 5.125% bonds due 2012;

• $15.99 million of 5.25% bonds due 2013;

• $15.99 million of 5.375% bonds due 2014;

• $15.99 million of 5.5% bonds due 2015;

• $15.99 million of 5.5% bonds due 2016;

• $15.99 million of 5.5% bonds due 2017;

• $15.99 million of 5.5% bonds due 2018;

• $15.99 million of 5.75% bonds due 2019;

• $15.99 million of 5.75% bonds due 2020;

• $15.99 million of 5.75% bonds due 2021;

• $15.99 million of 5.75% bonds due 2022;

• $79.95 million of 5.75% bonds due 2027; and

• $47.97 million of 5.75% bonds due 2030.
