Olympique Lyonnais gets tenders for 82.7% of Oceanes in exchange

New York, Dec. 23 - Olympique Lyonnais Groupe announced the receipt of tenders for 82.7% of its €24,032,930.46 of 7% Oceanes, or obligations a option de conversion et/ou d'echange en actions nouvelles ou existantes, due Dec. 28, 2015.

Of the overall 3,310,321 of Oceanes, 2,359,183 were tendered by three principal shareholders while 235,400 and 142,819 were tendered in private and public offers, respectively.

According to a news release, the company was looking to diversify its financing sources with the offer.

Settlement is expected on Dec. 28.

When the offer was launched on Dec. 9, the company said that its shares stood at €7.26 each.

Credit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank was the dealer manager.

The Lyon, France-based football/soccer club was founded in 1950 and is owned by Jean-Michel Aulas.
