National Grid Gas repurchases £17.92 million 7.125% bonds due 2044

San Diego, Dec. 22 - National Grid Gas plc said in a news release that it has repurchased £17.92 million of its million 7.125% bonds due Feb. 2044 for cancellation.

Following this purchase, there remains £10.25 million bonds outstanding.

National Grid is an electricity and gas company based in London.
