Atlanta rescinds previous call, now calls $70.66 million airport bonds

By Marisa Wong

Madison, Wis., Dec. 20 - The City of Atlanta rescinded the planned redemption of $8.833 million of its series 2003RF B-1 variable-rate airport general revenue refunding bonds, according to a notice.

The bonds, which are due Jan. 1, 2030, were originally to be redeemed on Jan. 3.

Instead, the city will redeem $70.664 million of the bonds on Dec. 30, according to a revised notice.

The bonds will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest to the redemption date.
