Dasny defeases, redeems 1998 New York and Presbyterian Hospital bonds

Madison, Wis., Dec. 15 - The Dormitory Authority of the State of New York said it defeased $23.8 million of its series 1998 New York and Presbyterian Hospital bonds and will redeem $413.87 million of the 1998 bonds.

Defeased are $11.75 million of 5.5% bonds due Feb. 1, 2011 and $12.05 million of 5.5% bonds due Aug. 1, 2011.

To be redeemed on Jan. 19 at par plus accrued interest to the redemption date are the following bonds:

• $11.995 million of 4.75% bonds due Feb. 1, 2012;

• $10.68 million of 4.75% bonds due Aug. 1, 2012;

• $42.33 million of 4.75% bonds due Aug. 1, 2014;

• $61.42 million of 4.75% bonds due Aug. 1, 2016;

• $25.25 million of 5% bonds due Feb. 1, 2019;

• $164.115 million of 4.75% bonds due Aug. 1, 2027; and

• $98.08 million of 5% bonds due Aug. 1, 2032.

The Bank of New York Mellon Trust Co., NA is the trustee.
