Nuveen New York to redeem all series F auction-rate preferreds Jan. 6

Madison, Wis., Dec. 13 - The Nuveen New York Dividend Advantage Municipal Fund gave notice that it will redeem all of its outstanding series F auction-rate cumulative preferred shares on Jan. 6.

There are 876 series F preferred shares outstanding, each with a liquidation preference of $25,000.

Nuveen is an investment management firm based in Chicago.
