Philadelphia School District calls $355.42 million 2008 G.O. bonds

Madison, Wis., Dec. 6 - The School District of Philadelphia said it will redeem in full $355.415 million of its general obligation refunding bonds, 2008 series A1, A2, A4, B1, B2, B3 and B5, on Jan. 3.

The variable-rate bonds will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest up to the redemption date.

To be redeemed are the following bonds:

• $95 million of 2008A1 bonds due Sept. 1, 2030;

• $78.475 million of 2008A2 bonds due Sept. 1, 2030;

• $1.27 million of 2008A4 bonds due Sept. 1, 2030

• $60 million of 2008B1 bonds due Sept. 1, 2030;

• $54.2 million of 2008B2 bonds due Sept. 1, 2030;

• $64.9 million of 2008B3 bonds due Sept. 1, 2030; and

• $1.57 million of 2008B5 bonds due Sept. 1, 2030.
