NYC Transit to redeem $1.63 million certificates of participation

Cleveland, Nov. 30 - The NYC Transit Authority, Metropolitan Transportation Authority and Triborough Bridge and Tunnel Authority announced that they will redeem $1.625 million of their variable-rate certificates of participation.

The redemption includes $550,000 of $71.4 million series 2004A-2 bonds due Jan. 1, 2019; $550,000 of $73.425 million series 2004A-1 bonds due Jan. 1, 2018; and $525,000 of $68.55 million series 2004A-5 bonds due Jan. 1, 2030.

The 2004A-2 bonds will be redeemed on Dec. 29, the 2004A-1 bonds on Dec. 28 and the 2004A-5 bonds on Dec. 27.

The bonds will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest up to the redemption dates.

Bank of New York Mellon is the redemption agent.
