Wisconsin HEFA to redeem portion of Aurora Medical Group 1996 bonds

Madison, Wis., Nov. 29 - The Wisconsin Health and Educational Facilities Authority said it will redeem a portion of its outstanding Aurora Medical Group, Inc. Project revenue bonds, series 1996, on Dec. 27.

The bonds will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest to the redemption date.

To be redeemed are the following bonds:

• All $4.87 million of 6% bonds due Nov. 15, 2011;

• $25.29 million of $27.14 million 5.6% bonds due Nov. 15, 2016; and

• $27.445 million of $71.53 million 5.75% bonds due Nov. 15, 2025.

Based in Milwaukee, the authority provides funding for health care and educational projects. Aurora Medical Group is part of Aurora Health Care, Inc., which is also based in Milwaukee and operates 14 acute care hospitals, one psychiatric hospital and physician clinics.
