Illinois to redeem $123 million first series 2000 G.O. bonds at par

Madison, Wis., Nov. 22 - The State of Illinois said it will redeem its $123 million of first series of 2000 general obligation bonds on Dec. 1.

The bonds will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest up to the redemption date.

To be redeemed are the following bonds:

• $20 million of 5.75% bonds due Dec. 1, 2015;

• $8.3 million of 5.75% bonds due Dec. 1, 2016;

• $8.7 million of 5.75% bonds due Dec. 1, 2017;

• $9 million of 5.75% bonds due Dec. 1, 2018;

• $9.5 million of 5.4% bonds due Dec. 1, 2019;

• $10 million of 5.4% bonds due Dec. 1, 2020;

• $20 million of 5.45% bonds due Dec. 1, 2021;

• $11.8 million of 5.5% bonds due Dec. 1, 2022;

• $12.5 million of 5.375% bonds due Dec. 1, 2023; and

• $13.2 million of 5.375% bonds due Dec. 1, 2024.
