Fannie Mae to redeem $2.45 billion medium-term notes at par

Cleveland, Oct. 29 - Fannie Mae announced that it will redeem $2.45 billion of its medium-term notes.

Fannie Mae said in a news release that the redemption price will be the principal amount plus accrued interest up to the redemption date.

Affected are the following securities, to be redeemed Nov. 26:

• $30 million of 4.05% notes due Nov. 26, 2013;

• $100 million of 1.5% notes due Nov. 26, 2012;

• $110 million of 1.55% notes due Nov. 26, 2012;

• $75 million of 1.6% notes due Nov. 26, 2012;

• $15 million of 5% notes due Nov. 26, 2029;

• $15 million of 4.45% notes due Nov. 26, 2019;

• $100 million of 2.715% notes due Nov. 26, 2014;

• $205 million of 2.5% notes due May 26, 2015;

• $50 million of 4% notes due May 26, 2020;

• $50 million of 7.125% notes due May 26, 2015;

• $200 million of 2.25% notes due May 26, 2015;

• $50 million of 2.125% notes due May 26, 2015

• $50 million of 2% notes due May 26, 2020;

• $50 million of 4% notes due Nov. 26, 2018;

• $75 million of 2% notes due May 26, 2020;

• $50 million of 3% notes due May 26, 2015;

• $50 million of 2.25% notes due May 26, 2020;

• $50 million of 2% notes due May 26, 2020;

• $100 million of 4.125% notes May 26, 2022;

• $250 million of 2% notes due Nov. 26, 2013;

• $50 million of 2.125% notes due May 26, 2020;

• $375 million of 3% notes due Nov. 26, 2018;

• $50 million of 2.25% notes due May 26, 2017;

• $100 million of 1.4% notes due Nov. 26, 2012;

• $50 million of 3% notes due May 26, 2020;

• $100 million of 1% notes due Nov. 26, 2013; and

• $50 million of 1.5% notes due May 26, 2015.
