Illinois calls $92.88 million Metropolitan Fair and Exposition bonds

Madison, Wis., Oct. 20 - The State of Illinois said it will redeem its $92.875 million of outstanding Metropolitan Fair and Exposition Authority bonds, series 1997, in full on Nov. 18.

To be redeemed at par are the following bonds:

• $21.51 million of 5.125% bonds due June 1, 2011;

• $22.59 million of 5.125% bonds due June 1, 2012;

• $23.775 million of 5.125% bonds due June 1, 2013; and

• $25 million of 5.375% bonds due June 1, 2014.
