Millicom calls outstanding $459.59 million 10% notes due 2013

Cleveland, Oct. 19 - Millicom International Cellular SA announced that it will redeem it outstanding $459,586,000 of 10% senior notes due 2013.

The $490,226,598 to be paid to bondholders comprises $459,586,000 for the principal, $22,979,300 for interest and $7,661,299 for the early redemption penalty.

The notes will be redeemed on Dec. 1. Part of the original $550 million notes issued has already been retired.

The Bank of New York is the agent of redemption.

Millicom is a telecommunications group based in Luxembourg.
