Connecticut calls University of Connecticut series 2000 A G.O. bonds

Milwaukee, Jan. 20 - The State of Connecticut gave notice that it will redeem its University of Connecticut general obligation bonds, 2000 series A, on March 1.

The bonds will be redeemed in full at 101, plus accrued interest up to the redemption date.

Affected are the following bonds:

• $5 million of 5.25% notes due 2011;

• $1.55 million of 5.15% notes due 2011;

• $2.34 million of 5.75% notes due 2012;

• $1.74 million of 5.2% notes due 2012;

• $2.05 million of 5.75% notes due 2013;

• $2.03 million of 5.3% notes due 2013;

• $5.26 million of 5.75% notes due 2014;

• $1.13 million of 5.35% notes due 2014;

• $3.27 million of 5.75% notes due 2015;

• $3.28 million of 5.4% notes due 2015;

• $5.045 million of 5.75% notes due 2016;

• $1.505 million of 5.4% notes due 2016;

• $5.935 million of 5.375% notes due 2017;

• $615,000 of 5.5% notes due 2017;

• $6.05 million of 5.375% notes due 2018;

• $500,000 of 5.55% notes due 2018;

• $5.955 million of 5.375% notes due 2019;

• $595,000 of 5.6% notes due 2019; and

• $6.55 million of 5.625% notes due 2020.
