Singapore's Celestial NutriFoods may redeem some convertible bonds

Chicago, June 30 - Celestial NutriFoods Ltd. said its board of directors is discussing the redemption of convertible bonds with a number of bondholders representing a substantial number of the securities.

Merrill Lynch Far East Ltd. is the dealer manager.

Celestial NutriFoods is a Singapore-based soy protein-based food and beverage product manufacturer in China.
