Stagecoach buys $15 million in 8 5/8% notes

Knoxville, Tenn., March 3 - Stagecoach Group plc said it repurchased $15 million of its 8 5/8% notes due November 2009 on Feb. 25.

The purchase represents 3% of the initial issue. The company has bought back $180.9 million of the notes so far.

Following the repurchase, $319.1 million of the notes remain outstanding.

Stagecoach is a Perth, Scotland-based public transportation company.
