Richardson Electronics calls remaining $7.67 million 8% convertibles

New York, Dec. 14 - Richardson Electronics, Ltd. has elected to redeem its remaining $7.67 million of 8% senior subordinated convertible notes, according to an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest to Jan. 11, the redemption date.

The 8% notes due 2011 were first issued in principal of $25 million in November 2005.

Richardson, based in Lafox, Ill., distributes electronic products through radio frequencies.
