Dollar Financial agrees to issue $100 million 3% convertibles in exchange for 2.875% convertibles

Chicago, Dec. 8 - Dollar Financial Corp. said it entered into exchange agreements with several holders of its 2.875% senior convertible notes due 2027.

The company agreed to exchange $100 million principal amount of the notes for an equal principal amount of new 3% senior convertible notes due April 1, 2028.

The new notes will have a conversion price of $28.956 per share and are callable beginning April 5, 2015. They are putable on April 1, 2015, April 1, 2018 and April 1, 2023.

Dollar Financial is a Berwyn, Pa.-based provider of financial services.
