California calls $100 million of series 2003 general obligation bonds

Milwaukee, Nov. 23 - The State of California gave notice that it will redeem a portion of its outstanding variable-rate general obligation bonds.

A total of $100 million of the bonds will be redeemed on Dec. 1 at par plus accrued interest up to the redemption date.

Affected are the following bonds:

• $25 million of series 2003B-1 bonds due 2033;

• $25 million of series 2003B-2 bonds due 2033;

• $25 million of series 2003B-3 bonds due 2033; and

• $25 million of series 2003B-4 bonds due 2033.
