New York calls series 3 subseries 3B fiscal 2003 recovery bonds

Knoxville, Tenn., Oct. 16 - New York City Transitional Finance Authority said it will redeem $81 million of its series 3, subseries 3B fiscal 2003 recovery bonds due Nov. 1, 2022.

The bonds will be converted to the fixed-rate mode from the daily-rate mode on Nov. 12, the redemption date. The company will redeem the securities at a price equal to par plus interest to the redemption date.

The Bank of New York Mellon is the tender agent (101 Barclay St., New York, NY 10286).
