Electrosteel to buy back $20.45 million foreign currency convertibles

Knoxville, Tenn., Jan. 20 - Electrosteel Castings Ltd. informed the Bombay Stock Exchange that it authorized plans to buy back $20.45 million of its foreign-currency convertible bonds at a board of directors meeting on Jan. 19.

Electrosteel Castings is a Kolkata, India, maker of water and sewer pipes.
